Hello!

We had Easter lessons last week with our young students.

We guessed the number of jelly beans in a jar and decorated lots of eggs!

Starting from our 5 & 6-year-old class, we used boiled eggs. We had egg dye and gold paint this time.  They really enjoy coloring real eggs and the designs get more and more complicated as they gain experience every year.

For children with egg allergies, we prepared ceramic eggs. They are not so easy to dye as real eggs, so maybe we should use paint instead of egg dye next year.

The winners of Jelly Bean Guess Contest will be announced next week. There will be prizes for the top 3 guessers!

先週、子どもコースではイースターレッスンをしました。

瓶に入ったジェリービーンズの数を予想し、たくさんの卵にデコレーションをしました。

５・６歳クラスから、本物のゆで卵を使用します。今年はイースター用染料とゴールドのペイントを使いました。子ども達は本物の卵にデコレーションするのをすごく楽しんでくれます。毎年の経験からデザインが段々複雑になっていくんですよ。

卵アレルギーのある子達は、セラミックでできた卵を使ってもらいます。こちらは本物の卵みたいにきれいに色がなかなかつかないので、来年からは絵の具を使った方がいいかもしません。

ジェリービーンズの数当ての勝者は来週発表します。上位３名には賞品がありますよ！
