Hello! Is everybody having a fun Golden Week holiday?

We are back at school teaching today, but we had a nice staycation.

On one of our days off, we went to Osaka to do some textbook shopping and bought 2 new books to add to our lending library.

They are both movies we watched recently. We enjoyed them so much that we decided to share them with our students. What we like about recent Disney/Pixar movies is that there are always jokes for adults! We also like checking out who the voice actors are. You usually see familiar names from TV dramas or movies.

They’re good reading materials for adult learners too!

私たちは今日からレッスンをしていますが、良い※ステイケーションを過ごしました。

休み中に大阪にテキストを見に行き、図書コーナー用に新しい本を２冊買ってきました。

２冊とも私たちが最近見た映画でとても良かったので、生徒さんにも楽しんでもらえたらと思っています。ディズニーやピクサー映画の良い所は、大人がわかるジョークが必ず入っているところですよね。誰が声優をしているのかチェックするのも楽しいです。テレビドラマや映画でよく見る名前がありますよね。

この２冊の英語は簡単すぎず、大人の生徒さんにも楽しんでもらえると思います！

※ステイケーションとはstayとvacationを合わせた言葉で、旅行などに行かず家で過ごす休暇のことを言います。
